Alastair Greene is known for his blues-based, fiery melodic guitar playing and soulful vocals. He recently dedicated himself to his solo career after touring the world for seven years with rock legend, Alan Parsons. His sound blends blues, classic rock, southern rock and jam band flavors.

With a recent album, Dream Train, produced by David Z, Dream Train features 13 songs, 12 of which are Greene originals. The sole cover is a previously unreleased tune written by Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top, “Nome Zayne.”

Dream Train features an impressive roster of guest artists including Walter Trout, Debbie Davies, Mike Zito, Mike Finnigan, and Dennis Gruenling.

Alastair Greene has been a mainstay of the Southern California music scene for two decades. He has opened shows for The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Robin Trower, John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers, Lonnie Brooks, Lucky Petersen, Jonny Lang, Joe Bonamassa, and more.

And for a brief guitar-treat, listen to Greene play Peter Green.
