This is one hot band!

The West Coast Feed is a powerhouse nine-piece band out of Seattle, WA, that make their own dynamic brand of swagger rock/soul music. And this is one tight, fun band with strong musicianship. Honoring the collective legacies of Memphis, Muscle Shoals and New Orleans, The West Coast Feed—eight members strong—generates a modern and electrifying rock, soul experience. The tight backbeat of the rhythm section, a vibrant three-man horn section, tandem electric guitars and a soaring violin, set the stage for the commanding voice of charismatic front man, Jesse Butterworth.

Since the band’s formation one short year ago, The West Coast Feed has filled clubs and theaters by word of mouth, drawing audiences to an experience of sound and sensation that makes sitting down impossible.

With their highly anticipated self-titled full-length debut out September 2018, founding member/guitarist/accomplished recording engineer, Matt Woll, polished the sweat, grit and energy of the band into a sonic studio stunner. The band includes band leader Jesse Butterworth, electric guitarists Matt Woll and Kyle Frank, violinist DJ Park, drummer Chad Elrod, bassist Tim Oas, and Matt Simmons, Matt Collins and Phil Dean on horns.

Jesse Butterwort’s resume includes fronting an award-winning, label-signed band with a #1 radio hit, who were on their way to the big time. But in the middle of a sold out show in Los Angeles, Jesse’s flying leap off a drum riser resulted in a compound leg fracture, and the sudden end of a dream. He compares the experience to dropping off a cliff and a total loss of momentum. But after relocating to Seattle, he met Matt Woll and the two friends formed the band, The West Coast Feed.

Philanthropic support is a central theme to the band’s mission as they have partnered with two non-profit organizations for benefit shows: charity:water and All God’s Children International. The latter organization cares for orphans and facilitates international adoptions and is close to Jesse’s heart as it provided a path for him and his wife to adopt their Ethiopian-born daughter, Harper. Their adoption journey is captured in the band’s lively debit single, “You belong To Me.” Jesse said, “Giving back is the ethos of the band and is at the heart of what we do.”
