Marcus King Releases New Video “Wildflowers & Wine” Video, Adds Additional Tour Dates

MARCUS KING’S DAN AUERBACH-PRODUCED DEBUT SOLO ALBUM, EL DORADO

Monday November 4 – The Marcus King Band has added 33 additional dates in the U.S., Europe, and Australia to their worldwide El Dorado Tour. The expansive tour will see them perform music from Marcus King’s forthcoming genre-bending debut solo record, El Dorado to be released January 17, 2020 via Fantasy Records and produced by Dan Auerbach.

The Marcus King Band will perform 70+ dates worldwide this fall & spring, including New York’s Beacon Theatre on December 21, Los Angeles’ The Fonda Theatre on January 31 and London’s legendary Electric Ballroom on February 25. The tour kicked off last week with show stopping performances to capacity crowds in Wichita and Kansas City, with The Kansas City Star describing King as a “dynamic guitar slinger.” The Marcus King Band is King’s honored foundation, formed in Greenville, South Carolina in 2013, they are one of the hardest working bands in music today performing over 140 live shows in the last calendar year.

Marcus King recently announced the release of his forthcoming record El Dorado, produced by Dan Auerbach and released on Jan 17, 2020 on Fantasy Records. Album preview songs include soulful tune “Wildflowers & Wine” which premiered on American Songwriter today and El Dorado’s driving first single “The Well,” which received widespread radio support and critical acclaim from Rolling Stone Magazine, Vulture, Entertainment Weekly and Paste Magazine who stated, “While the guitar pushes along a repeated blues lick, King’s exceptional voice is the main attraction.”
