Billy Strings, performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, July 20, Watch It Fall, Rock and Blues Muse

Billy Strings by J Faatz Media

Billy Strings, who has been hailed as the future of bluegrass, transcending tradition and genre with his high velocity, flat-picking guitar technique and intense, confessional songwriting, will continue his ambitious live streaming/virtual touring project “STREAMING STRINGS 2020” which kicked off on July 16 at Nashville’s Brooklyn Bowl. In its entirety, the tour will span across five iconic Nashville venues totaling nine live-streamed shows. So far, each show has had special guest appearances including Marcus King, Molly Tuttle, Sierra Hull, and Bryan Sutton.

Strings is raising awareness for the National Independent Venue Association. NIVA is asking Congress for help, but without it, 90% of the music venues we love will close forever. Visit https://www.saveourstages.com/ to send an email to Congress and show your support.

Earlier this year Strings received a round of award nominations from the International Bluegrass Music Association as well as the Americana Music Association. Four IBMA nominations include Entertainer of the Year and Album of the Year, Instrumental Recording of the Year, and Guitar Player of the Year. AMA nominated Strings for Emerging Act of the Year.
