“Peace of Mind” by The L.A. Maybe

Carolinas-based heavy rock band, The L.A. Maybe release their video for “Peace of Mind” from their new album, Dirty Damn Tricks, out March 26, 2021. Fronted by lead singer Alvi Robinson, made famous when he was nearly selected to front the legendary band AC/DC in 2016, The L.A. Maybe release their official lyric video for the uplifting, anthemic single.

“’Peace of Mind’ is a song about struggling with addiction. Battling your inner demons can be hard, but we all just want to come out the other side with a little peace of mind. More than anything, this song is a message of hope. We hope you’ll enjoy it as much as we enjoyed making it,” says Dallas Wright (lead guitarist, songwriter)

Six-piece rock band, The L.A. Maybe builds their sound on the foundational elements of rock and roll. Big, greasy riffs, huge choruses, impressive hooks, soaring vocals, and ripping guitar solos. The band firmly plants its feet at the very forefront of the New Wave of Classic rock movement.

Well crafted, honest lyrics about the challenge of breaking free of addiction and emerging with a sense of peace.

“I’m looking for anything to break the ties that bind
The nightmares seem to never end
The days stretch a little bit longer inside my mind
And the pain gets a little bit harder to hide”

Wright and the band decided to release a lyric video for “Peace of Mind” so the focus would be on the lyrics and the music.

Robinson lays down gritty and often rich vocals while the band backs him up with slithering riffs, catchy hooks and ripping, tasteful guitar solos.
