The Steepwater Band Returns With ‘A Long Time (And No Time At All)’ New Single

The Steepwater Band is back with a brand new single and music video that drops June 3rd. The track “A Long Time (And No Time At All)” is a driving summertime anthem that captures the spirit of the season with a nod to life’s ever evolving journey. It’s real rock ‘n’ roll written and played by the cream of the crop of Chicagoland musicians! A forthcoming new album is expected to be released early 2026.

“The song is a positive spin on human struggles, as well as the impermanence of every musical moment that have both passed us by, and have yet to come,” said the band’s lead vocalist, guitarist and chief lyricist Jeff Massey.

The Steepwater Band includes Jeff Massey (lead vocals, guitar), Joe Winters (drums, percussion), Eric Taylor’s (guitars, lap steel, backing vocals,) Joe Bishop (bass, backing vocals).

Recorded at Chicago’s Music Mansion and Produced/Engineered by Tony Mac, the new single features guest performances by Chris Grove (Eddie Money) on keyboards, and Chuck Harling (The Midnight Calls) on auxiliary percussion, adding depth and texture to the band’s signature sound.

In support of the release, The Steepwater Band will hit the road in North America, along with International Touring, all while continuing work on their upcoming full-length album slated for early 2026.
