Buddy Guy has released his scorching new song, “Nine Below Zero” from his upcoming album, The Blues Is Alive And Well, to be released June 15th.
The Blues legend is sure alive and well and kickin’ it on this Sonny Boy Williamson cover from his new album, his first record since the 2015 Grammy Award-winner, Born To Play Guitar. The album features Mick Jagger, Jeff Beck and James Bay.
The Americana Association announced Wednesday that Buddy Guy will be awarded their Lifetime Achievement Award in their September 12th ceremony in Nashville, TN.
In Guy’s quest to keep the Blues vital, he chatted about the origin of Southern Blues and performed on David Letterman’s Netflix series, My Next Guest Needs No Introduction, which aired May 4th.
