High-powered hard rockers Kick The Wicked have released a blasting new single “FireFly” that’s available now on all streaming platforms via Gemini Rising Records. The World Songwriting Award-winning band use it to demonstrate their mighty, diverse sound, groove skills, and idealized vocal hooks.

“FireFly” is a classic, galloping hard rocker full of ripping guitars, pounding drums, and soaring vocals. Mark Lanoue has a high-flying, old-school metal voice with operatic qualities that’s beyond capable and he occupies the spotlight like a boss. He has a wide range and a powerful tone that’s certain to impress.

Scott Campbell also steps up on keys and lead guitar in a crucial way. He handles the guitar solo on this one and proves himself to be a player of passion and skill. Drummer Rory Faciane adds the thump and the snap all great rock songs need to the track. His style is steady and physical, putting the song in gear from the downbeat. Kick The Wicked has a winner in “FireFly” and rock fans the world over are going to flip for it. This, friends, is how the trick is done.

Kick The Wicked is an outstanding rock band made up of three seasoned professional musicians. Guitarist/vocalist Mark Lanoue is a bit of a Renaissance man, not only excelling in the field of rock and roll but is also a Ph.D candidate, has worked for NASA Commercial Space, and has been inducted into the NASA Space Technology Hall of Fame.

Scott Campbell is the musical mastermind that drives Kick The Wicked. He’s an accomplished guitarist, bassist, and keyboardist who has a knack for finding the best-suited sounds and samples for any given project. Campbell is also KTW’s resident producer, recording engineer, and overly-talented talented musician in general. He even sings.

Drummer Rory Faciane brings the “kick” to Kick The Wicked and supplies both knowledge and chops to the band. He’s an honors graduate of Musicians Institute (Percussion Institute of Technology) and is a top-call live and studio drummer in Nashville, Tennessee. His playing is muscular and articulate, pushing the band and himself past any perceived limitations.
