Fallon asked about how it was recording without Charlie Watts and Keith responded with honest answers about missing Charlie but added that Charlie chose Steve Jordan himself so they all felt better about continuing.

In the interview, Mick shared that they recorded two albums in Los Angeles. “We cut 23 tracks.” Mick and Keith Richards bantered back and forth about writing in Jamaica then meeting up with Ronnie Wood in New York and Los Angeles to cut the tracks.

Mick Jagger added that the album is not all about anger. “It has love songs, ballads, country-type sounds.”
